FORWARD is a two-year initiative that will maximize our reach with the Gospel by maximizing our campus.

Our One Fund Approach.

Our vision is to reach Palm Beach County, South Florida, and the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. That is why we exist as a church. The Details

  • Our vision is to reach Palm Beach County, South Florida, and the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. That is why we exist as a church. We are in a season of opportunity to increase and maximize our impact. To fulfill our potential, by God’s grace, we all can take a step FORWARD together to Strengthen, Build, and Go.

  • West Palm Beach has the highest percentage of never-churched people in the U.S. We are literally on a mission field. It was deemed a mission field by the North American Mission Board as a SEND location, meaning there is an exponentially higher need for churches. We are well on our way, with currently 71 first-generation nations represented in our congregation.

What a fantastic opportunity to reach the nations from Okeechobee Blvd! Because of this unique opportunity, we must strengthen our current footprint and eliminate unnecessary barriers to people hearing the Gospel. To do this, we believe our church campus on Okeechobee Blvd. needs our attention. Today, there is currently only one limited entrance and exit to the property. Quick turnarounds between three services on Sundays can be frustrating and even prohibitive for people just trying to drive and park on the property for the first time. Due to the growth of Grace over the last several years, parking has become the next focus for improvement. We believe that now is the time to build out our Grace Kids area, expand our parking, and create more room for ministry.

  • STRENGTHEN

We will strengthen our outpost by eliminating the difficulty of just getting on and off the church campus by widening our current entrance and installing additional access to Okeechobee Blvd. The plan also includes additional parking to meet the needs of the continued growth we have experienced over the last several years and prepare for future growth.

    BUILD

To move the mission FORWARD, we must build a dedicated Children’s building that will place our entire Children’s ministry under one roof with a single check-in. There are currently three different locations for birth-Elementary age children.

    GO

Grace exists to reach Palm Beach County, South Florida, and the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Strengthening and building up this Gospel outpost will allow us to Go Forward with the mission and vision God has given Grace.

  • We are asking everyone who calls Grace Fellowship home to take a step FORWARD with Christ as we seek to Strengthen, Build, and Go together.

    1. If someone were to look at how I use my time, energy, and finances; what would be said of my priorities?

    2. What difference do I want my time, energy, and finances to make in my own heart and life?

    3. How will my commitment to FORWARD change me and allow me to take steps forward in my time, energy, and finances more meaningfully in the vision of reaching others for Christ?

  • WHAT ARE YOU ASKING ME TO DO?

First and foremost, we are asking you to pray and seek God’s leading. Then, prioritize attending the Sunday worship services and prepare your heart to listen to God’s Word, taking time to reflect on the messages that you hear each week and engage in the corresponding Bible studies. Talk with your family and friends about what the Lord reveals to you.

We also ask you to prepare to be amazed. We trust that the Lord is working in your life, in our church, and in our community, and we look forward in faith to the tremendous impact that he will make through our commitments.

WHAT IS THE ‘RIGHT AMOUNT’ FOR ME TO GIVE, OR FOR US TO GIVE AS A FAMILY?

The ‘right amount’ is the amount God places on your heart to give sacrificially. Your commitment is a response in worship. The Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 that “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

WHAT IF I CAN’T AFFORD TO GIVE RIGHT NOW?

FORWARD is about your total, radical, sacrificial generosity to God’s mission in and through Grace Fellowship: A Church for All Nations. We believe God calls us to give in times of hardship just as much as he does in times of abundance, and what that looks like will be different for every person and family. We trust that God will direct all of us, calling us to surrender our lives completely in the area of giving and see that it is not something that he wants from us, but something that he wants for us.

Sacrificial giving may mean being challenged to sell things, cut back in certain areas of spending, or even trusting God in faith by making a commitment that you don’t know how to fulfill right now, but that you believe God will provide for as you seek.

We are asking everyone to be a part of FORWARD so we can all support, love, encourage, and pray for one another.

WHAT IF I AM NEW TO GRACE FELLOWSHIP: A CHURCH FOR ALL NATIONS?

If you are new to our church, new to faith in Christ, or still seeking answers, WELCOME! As FORWARD is about moving forward God’s mission through our church, we’d love to help you get to know our church and learn more about that vision.

We encourage you to attend our Starting Point class on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am or 11:30 am to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how to connect. Starting Point is an excellent opportunity to ask questions and let us know where you are in your journey.

    WHY A CHILDREN’S BUILDING?

To move the mission FORWARD, we must build a dedicated Children’s building that will place our entire Children’s ministry under one roof with a single check-in. There are currently three different locations for birth-Elementary age children.

    WHAT IS AN INTENTION CARD?

The FORWARD Intention Card is where you can indicate what you plan to give over the two-year initiative period, with options for how and over what schedule you have prayerfully decided to contribute. This card is vital, informing us of what to expect and how to plan expenditures wisely. Several methods are available (giving online, by check, automatic checking withdrawal, etc.) with options for stocks and non-cash gifts as well. For specific questions about giving methods, please get in touch with us at info@gograce.church.

WILL I BE ABLE TO CHANGE MY 2-YEAR COMMITMENT IF I NEED TO?

Of course! All of us are making the best commitment decision we can make based on what we know. However, unforeseen circumstances may cause you to want to increase or decrease your giving commitment in the future. You can ask for another intention card at any time during the 24 months and turn it in as your revised goal!

CAN I MAKE MY PLEDGE IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6?

Yes, just bring your intention card to the next service you attend or mail it to our office at:

    FORWARD

    Grace Fellowship

    8350 Okeechobee Blvd

    West Palm Beach, FL 33411

WHEN DO WE EXPECT CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN? HOW WILL IT AFFECT OUR CURRENT MINISTRIES?

We anticipate being ready to “break ground” on the project in the first quarter of 2023. We will need to be flexible during construction but will make every effort to minimize disruption to our regular ministry schedule. While we will likely experience minor inconveniences at different times, we are building the construction schedule to mitigate these exciting challenges.

As construction begins, there will be seasons when traffic flow coming and going onto campus will be modified. However, we do not foresee any significant ministry changes taking place.

We plan to communicate the schedule and update the congregation on the progress throughout the commitment and building phases.

WHERE CAN I DIRECT OTHER QUESTIONS THAT I HAVE ABOUT THE INITIATIVE?

Email info@gograce.church with your questions, and we’ll direct them accordingly.
